Our experienced team keeps up-to-date with the latest contracting, regulatory and environmental methods and machinery and adheres to every OSHA, EPA, federal, state, and local protocol to guarantee the safest possible industrial demolition and environmental abatement.

In addition, we’ve created our own comprehensive safety program that mandates:
• 40-hour HAZWOPER training
• First-response training, First-Aid/AED/CPR training
• 10-hour OSHA training
• Asbestos, lead and mold training
• Emergency training and site disaster training
• Search and rescue
• On-site toolbox talks
• Annual refresher training course
• Defensive driving training
• Specialized supervisor training

IN-HOUSE SAFETY PROGRAM

Total Wrecking and Environmental conducts its operations safely by promoting actions and policies to reduce or eliminate hazards well beyond what is required by construction industry standards.

Total employs a full time Safety Director to oversee safety training, and to ensure full implementation of the Total Wrecking Corporate Health and Safety Program on all national demolition and environmental abatement projects. Our comprehensive training program outlines each staff member’s individual safety responsibilities, and ensures that our entire staff is not only aware of the hazards within and surrounding our work environment, but also that they are equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to reduce or eliminate hazards. This program extends well beyond Total Wrecking’s own forces. Every Subcontractor and Supplier contract includes a requirement for full acceptance and participation in the Total Wrecking Health and Safety program:
• Over 30 comprehensive safety training programs
• In-house certifications
• Work recognition programs
• Safety committee

EXCEPTIONAL SAFETY STANDARDS & PROTOCOLS

At Total Wrecking, there is nothing more important than safety on a national demolition or environmental abatement project. That’s why we’ve implemented additional company protocols to further ensure the highest safety standards on our job sites, including:
• Qualified/trained OSHA consultant/trainer available for job-site training
• On-site project supervisors provide daily oversight and supervision of safety                       procedures and Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
